Event funding.
Know the criteria.
Review the eligibility requirements, prepare your supporting information and complete the checklist before proceeding to the funding application.
Submission deadline
60 daysApplications must be submitted at least 60 calendar days before the event.
Funding limit
R100,000A maximum of R100,000 per application is available.
Initial review
5–7 daysWorking days for the initial review, followed by recommendations to the Board.

Black Female Students
Black Female Students (at least 85% black female) studying towards a Degree/qualification in Sports Management
Black Female High-Performance Athletes
Black Female High-Performance athletes may apply for a Sports Bursary or Grant and may study towards any field
High Performance Athletes
High Performance Athletes Participating At International Level

From submission to a decision.
Initial review
Applications are reviewed for completeness, eligibility and alignment with the Trust’s objectives. The initial review takes 5–7 working days.
Board consideration
After the initial review, recommendations are submitted to the Board for a final decision.
Written notification
Applicants will receive a written decision within 7 working days of the review.
